Wounded Deputy & Firefighter’s Widow Honored by Veterans
May 28th, 2013 by Joe BurgessDrew County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeremy Chapman was honored by the local Veteran’s organizations at their annual Memorial Day service. Chapman was wounded by a gunshot, while on a call in March.
Amy Satterlee, the widow of Pine Bluff firefighter Caleb Read Satterlee, accepted the Veteran’s plaque honoring him for his service. Caleb, a Monticello resident and native, was killed in a car accident in April.
The Veterans present plaques for Deputy and Firefighter of the Year, at their annual community service at the courthouse.
