Wounded Deputy & Firefighter’s Widow Honored by Veterans
May 28th, 2013 byDrew County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeremy Chapman was honored by the local Veteran’s organizations at their annual Memorial Day service. Chapman was wounded by a gunshot, while on a call in March.
Amy Satterlee, the widow of Pine Bluff firefighter Caleb Read Satterlee, accepted the Veteran’s plaque honoring him for his service. Caleb, a Monticello resident and native, was killed in a car accident in April.
The Veterans present plaques for Deputy and Firefighter of the Year, at their annual community service at the courthouse.
