Work Truck & Trailer Drive-Thru Old Discount Carpet Store

Just before 5:30 PM, Thursday evening, an unusual occurrence took place, causing this Ford work truck and the trailer/air compressor it was pulling to leave Gaines Street, and crash into the old Discount Carpet store.
Sources at the scene told MLive that a fire extinguisher inside the cab of the truck discharged, causing the cab to fill with the chemical fog.
It is believed the driver tried to apply the brakes, but then jumped from the vehicle before the truck left the roadway entering the structure.
The driver was transported by MASI to DMH.
