Hay Field & Woods Fire, Reignites
February 24th, 2014 by iPhoneThe Arkansas Forestry Commission, Selma Fire Department, and Drew County OEM were paged out to Highway 277 north, Saturday around 2 PM, where a burning fence row blazed out of control.
An 80 acre hayfield burned next, before the fire spread to a wooded area.
2 AFC fire plows and multiple fire trucks were called out to battle the fire, which was finally controlled around 8 PM.
The smoldering haybales above were photographed Sunday afternoon, around 30 minutes before the fire reignited, paging out the Selma firefighters, once again.
