Wilmar Man Arrested for Murder & Rape in Oakland. Cal.
March 13th, 2012 by Mandy MossOn Monday, March 5, 2012, police officers from Oakland, CA came to Monticello in search of 63 year old Curtis Tucker. Tucker’s last known address was in Drew County, outside of the Wilmar community. The officers were with Oakland, CA’s cold case squad.
Recently, the officers looked into a case in which a 13 year old girl was raped & murdered. The crime occurred in Oakland, CA in 1974. The officers came across a piece of evidence that had not yet been tested for DNA.
Since DNA testing was not available in 1974, the evidence had been sitting in storage since it was collected at the crime scene 38 years ago. The evidence item was tested and a DNA profile was found that linked Tucker to the crime. Arkansas State Police and the Drew County Sheriff’s Office assisted the California officers in attempting to locate Tucker, but had no success. The investigation revealed that Tucker may have already gone back to CA.
On March 8, 2012, Tucker was arrested in Alameda County, CA.

I have researched high & low to locate anyone that knows this man and no one have a clue to who he is. Just wanted to know is he originally from Wilmar? If not how & how long was he in Wilmar? Surely he didn’t just pick Wilmar of all places to make his residence. I’m very concerned & must I also add scared! Can we have more details?
