Williams Previously Convicted of Manslaughter & Attempted Murder
August 29th, 2014 by iPhoneThe jury returned at 2:30 with verdicts of “Guilty of 1st Degree Murder & Abuse of a Corpse”.
The sentencing phase of the trial began with the testimony of Tangela’s mother, telling about her deceased daughter’s 3 children; ages 6, 8, and 19, who she now is left to raise without their mother.
The defense called Williams’ daughter to testify about his attempted suicide.
Judge Pope sent the jury out of the room , when he discussed Williams’ 3 prior felony convictions.
The convictions are for attempted 2nd degree murder, manslaughter, and felon is possession of a firearm.
