Williams’ Murder Trial Postponed till August
July 22nd, 2014 by iPhoneThe murder trial for Freddie Williams, age 51 of Monticello, has been postponed until August 28–29, instead of Tuesday’s scheduled start.
The trial is being rescheduled due to a an important defense witness, a local doctor, being out of town and unable to testify.
Williams is accused of the April 2013 First Degree Murder of Tangela Walton, age 36 of Warren.
After being reported missing for 9 days, Walton’s body was located in a grave behind Williams’ house.
Williams is also charged with Abuse of a Corpse.
