So sorry to hear of the closing of Western Sizzlin. It was the only place in Monticello that had a good buffet with plenty of homecooked vegetables. God bless you and your family.
Western Sizzlin has been a Monticello landmark for years. It has been the epicenter of family reunions, after-church lunches, and club meetings, as well as a place to simply get good home-cooked food in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I would encourage EVERY Monticello citizen to mask-up and take your family to dinner before this institution of local good will and sociability locks its doors. Let’s show our support for Mr. Jimmy and the Western Sizzlin family!
