Wells Family Remembers Lost Loved Ones

Tuesday, Veronica Wells, along with her family and a friend, went to the site where her daughter and grandchildren were killed on July 14, 2007, on HWY 425 North, near Pine Bluff.   The family cut grass, and removed the old flowers that marked the location where 5 family members lost their lives in a collision with a tractor trailer, 2 years ago.
A new cross was placed with all the names on it.
A special thank you goes to Mr. Cornelious Branch, Mr. Darrell McDaniel, and Rev. Melvin Foster for the construction of the everlasting cross.
Ms. Will asks that as you are traveling HWY 425 N., approximately 4 miles south of Pine Bluff, take a look to your left at the piece of art and remember her daughter, Ketria, and grandchildren, Kiyah, Kayla, Keshon, and Kaleb.

I’ve passed there several times to and from Pine Bluff. I know that it has left a huge empty place in the hearts of the families that loved these precious angels. May God Bless and Comfort you all at this time. I admire you for the way that you’ve taken the time to do this! The cross is so pretty and when I go to Pine Bluff again, I’ll be sure to look at it and say a prayer! Have a blessed day!
Every time I drive by I think about those summer days I spent having the privilage to be one of her coaches during softball season. My thoughts and prayers are always with her family here and in heaven.
I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY MY PRAYERS GOES OUT TO THE WELLS FAMILY EVERYDAY CAUSE SHE WAS A CLASSMATE OF MINE AND I WILL ALL MISS KETRINA AND HER KIDS.
I have passed this cross many times on my way to work and kept trying to remember to see if I could find the story behind it. I am glad I found this explanation. I salute the loved ones that took the time and love to do this. I always wonder how many people it affects and maybe even causes them to slow down and use some extra caution in their driving.
I shall continue to think of “Ketria” as I drive past. Blessings on her family for continuing to think of her too.
