Warren Man Dies after Being Struck by Car

A 59 year old Warren man died after being airlifted to UAMS, following a pedestrian/vehicle accident Saturday evening at 9 pm.
The deceased, Percy Gavin, Jr., age 59 of Warren, was walking west on the HWY 278 Bypass near the fog line, west of Warren, near the intersection with Central St.
Gavin was struck by a westbound Chevy truck, also westbound on the 278 Bypass.
Arkansas State Police investigated the accident.
The victim was pronounced dead at UAMS at 11:30 PM.
