War Eagle Boats celebrates Mr. Waymon Cox’s 90th Birthday!
April 22nd, 2016 by iPhoneMr. Waymon Cox is an aluminum tig welder for War Eagle Boats that started to work here 23 years ago.
He continues to come to work each day and lay a good quality weld. Mr. Waymon said he started to work for Bill and Chick Ward in 1952, welding everything from boats to attic fans and awnings.
After working for DuraCraft, Mr. Waymon went on to work for Burlington Industries until his retirement. He became bored with retirement and decided to go back to work and 23 years later, he is still at it.
We, at War Eagle Boats, feel fortunate to have someone of this caliber to work along side of each day. Mr. Waymon Cox is an U.S. Navy veteran and a 33? Mason.
