Update on PF Mays vs. City of Monticello & MEDC – Videos

Local attorney, Cliff Gibson, updated the MEDC (Monticello Economic Development Commission) on the status of a pending lawsuit, brought by PF Mays & Associates against the city and its mayor and council members, last year.
The plaintiffs attorney, approximately a month ago, had added the MEDC and its board of directors to the case, as defendants.
Gibson informed the group, at Wednesday’s meeting, that their organization and individual members had been dropped from the lawsuit.
Gibson went on to explain, when asked by MLive, that the case against the City of Monticello (including its mayor, former mayor and council members) is still pending in Drew County Circuit Court.
