UPDATE – Drew Foam Fire Extinguished
June 5th, 2015 by iPhoneAround 3:45, Monticello firefighters were rolling up their hoses, after successfully battling the fire at Drew Foam.
The fire was reportedly contained to one corner area of the building, apparently used for storage and staging of styrofoam material.
The building was evacuated early for safety, and according to fire chief Kelly Reid, all ventilation and sprinkler systems successfully worked as expected.
During the event three people were checked by ambulance staff for smoke inhalation, but released at the scene.
