UAM Students Donate To Seark Miracle League
March 18th, 2020 by UAM NewsPictured are Aaron Ratledge and Caleb Rodgers members of Stephanie Harton’s entrepreneurship class at the University of Arkansas at Monticello presenting Gay Pace with a donation of over $400 for the Seark Miracle League. The teams from the class were given $5.00 and the task of making as much money as possible in one week.
Ratledge and Rodgers’ team along with members not pictured, Gabe Brace, Skylar Hart, Morgan Jones and Lynah Bontiff, chose Seark Miracle League as it’s nonprofit. The team hopes that the raised from solicitations from local businesses and residents “will brighten lives of many young children of southeast Arkansas”.
“The Miracle League removes the barriers that keep children with mental and physical disabilities off the baseball field and lets them experience the joy of America’s favorite pastime.” The Miracle League 2020 spring season will begin on April 4th at 9:00 am.
