The University of Arkansas at Monticello’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) announced a recent donation to the SEARK Miracle League.
Continuing its ongoing support of the Miracle League in Monticello, the UAM SAAC gave a $1,000 donation to the program. The donation is just one of many contributions the program has assisted in for the Miracle League over the years.
The Miracle League of Southeast Arkansas is a non-profit organization that is focused on providing individuals with disabilities a chance to play baseball and experience the magic of team sports. Its mission is to remove the barriers that keep children with mental and physical disabilities off the baseball field and let them experience the joy of America’s favorite pastime.
“I am so proud of our Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for taking the initiative to give back to our community that does so much for them,” said Senior Woman Administrator, SAAC Adivisor, and Assistant Athletic Director Catie Tapp.
