UAM REEVALUATES ATHLETIC DIRECTOR POSITION, DECIDES TO GO A DIFFERENT DIRECTION

Last week, the University of Arkansas at Monticello announced that Mr. Kevin Price, senior associate athletics director for external operations at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology was hired to become the athletics director at UAM. Upon further discussion and evaluation, UAM and Mr. Price have mutually agreed to not move forward in naming Mr. Price to the job. Dr. Karla Hughes, UAM Chancellor, commends the search committee on their hard work and will determine how best to fill the athletics director position vacancy in the near future.
