UAM Names Homecoming Court
October 12th, 2018 by iPhoneTwelve women have been selected to the 2018 homecoming court at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
UAM will celebrate homecoming October 20.The homecoming queen will be selected by a vote of the student body and announced during pre-game ceremonies prior to UAM’s football game with Oklahoma Baptist.
The members of the court are:
- Sydney Abbott of Bearden, a junior accounting major and the daughter of Wally and Stephanie Abbott. She is vice president of Institute of Management Accountants.
- Taylor Dickinson of Camden, a junior pre-vet major and the daughter of Jason and Niki Dickinson. She is president of the Student Government Association and a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority.
- Faith Hendrixson of Conway, a junior nursing major and the daughter of Pam White and Mark and Lisa Hendrixson. She is a former member of the cheerleading squad and a game day leader, member of College Republicans, Student Nurses Association, and former Student Athlete Advisory Committee member.
- Mackenzie Johnson of Bauxite, a junior education major and the daughter of Stephen and Melody Johnson. She is president of Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority, vice president of the Student Government Association, secretary of the National Panhellenic Conference, a member of Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society, Alpha Chi Honor Society, and a member of Student Congress.
- Jordan Kane of Waynesville, Mo., a junior biochemistry and biology double major and the daughter of David and Barbara Kane. She is a Student Ambassador, member of the UAM cross country team, Missionary Baptist Student Fellowship, Baptist Collegiate Ministry, vice president of the Biology Club, Sigma Zeta Honor Society, and active in intramurals.
- Rachel Langley of Crossett, a junior political science major and the daughter of Jeff and Melissa Langley. She is a Student Ambassador team leader, a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority, Alpha Chi, the Student Congress Team, and secretary of Pi Sigma Alpha.
- Faith Lawrence of Huntington, a senior animal science/pre-vet major and the daughter of Gary and RaDonna Lawrence. She is treasurer of the Pre-Vet Club and a member of the Board of Directors of the UAM Cattlemen’s Association, and a Cattle Research Intern.
- Kacee Jo Leonard of Crossett, a senior nursing major and the daughter of Ricky and Roxanne Leonard. She is a Student Ambassador, vice president of Student Nurses Association, and a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.
- Rose Mencer of Monticello, a junior biochemistry and biology double major and the daughter of David and Susan Mencer. She is a secretary of Sigma Zeta, secretary of the Biology Club, Scholarship Chairman of Alpha Sigma Alpha, a member of Alpha Chi, and active in intramurals.
- Julianna Mendenhall of Blue Mound, Ill., a junior psychology major and the daughter of Doug and Pamela Mendenhall. She is president of the Psychology Club, president of Delta Zeta Epsilon, vice president of membership of Psi Chi, Congresswoman of College Republicans, and a Resident Assistant.
- Keely Stanberry of Camden, a junior accounting major and the daughter of Chad and Stacey Stanberry. She is captain of the Cheerleading Squad, president of the International Club, secretary of Institute of Management Accountants, active member of Student Athlete Advisory Committee, and a member of the Vera Lloyd Fall Festival Committee.
- Belle Tan of Singapore, a junior political science and accounting double major and the daughter of Doris and Joe Tan. She is a member of the Women’s Golf Team, Student Athlete Advisory Committee, president of Pi Sigma Alpha, Institute of Management Accountants, International Club, Student Congress, and Alpha Chi.
