UAM Begins Senior Leadership Transition
February 5th, 2016 by iPhoneUniversity of Arkansas at Monticello Chancellor Karla Hughes has announced the beginning of a reorganization of her senior administrative team.
Dr. Jimmie Yeiser, provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs, has accepted a position on the faculty as professor in the School of Forestry and Natural Resources. Linda Yeiser, vice chancellor for advancement and university relations, will step down from her current position on March 4, 2016.
Dr. Peggy Doss, dean of the UAM School of Education, will assist in the transition of leadership in the Office of Academic Affairs while Jay Jones, vice chancellor for finance and administration, will assist with the transition of leadership in the Office of Advancement. Both will also continue in their current roles.
“I want to express my gratitude to Dr. and Mrs. Yeiser for their service and commitment to UAM,” said Dr. Hughes. “I am pleased that Dr. Yeiser will continue to serve the institution as a valued member of our forestry and natural resources faculty. I am also grateful to Dr. Doss and Vice Chancellor Jones for agreeing to assist in this time of transition for the institution.”
