Turtle Creek Apartment Fire

The Monticello Fire Department is currently responding to an apartment fire at Turtle Creek Apartments on Slemmons Street.
At 9:45, firefighters entered two apartments, battling the blaze.
The fire started in a closet in the bottom apartment, in a closet.,
The smoke filtered to the upstairs living area, causing damage to it.
Monticello Police and MASI also responded to the fire.
