Tucker’s Attorney Issues Statement

In response to recent news articles, it is appropriate that I make a limited comment on behalf of my client, Monticello Mayor Zack Tucker.
We are currently cooperating with the proper officials and agencies regarding the utilization of certain funds from the Monticello Advertising & Promotion Commission. There are no allegations of theft or that Mayor Tucker personally benefited from the expenditure of funds.
Mayor Tucker will continue in his elected position while the investigation is ongoing. The business of Monticello will continue.
As his legal counsel, I have instructed Mayor Tucker to not comment on this matter, as it works through the legal process.
