Truck Crashes into Home

Tuesday night, at 9 PM, the driver of this Chevy pick-up, pulling a loaded trailer, lost control of his vehicle on N. Hyatt St., near the country club.
Monticello Police and Fire & Rescue responded, since the driver was trapped inside the vehicle.
Sources at the scene report that the vehicle left the roadway near the golf course, traveling through yards, before crashing through a carport, hitting a vehicle inside the carport, then pushing items stored on the carport through the wall into a bedroom and bathroom area inside the home.
No one inside the home was injured, but the driver was transported by SEEMS to JRMC, for injuries from the crash.
