Victim Identified in Train Fatality, Near Dumas
January 10th, 2017 by iPhoneAt 5:07 am, Monday morning, the driver of a Ford 500 was pronounced dead at the scene of a train/car crash, south of Dumas.

The vehicle was westbound on Walnut Lake Road, when it collided with a northbound train, near the Pickens Store.
The victim was reported to have been ejected from the vehicle.
The deceased was a 45 year old Brent Morris, of Dumas.
The Desha County Sheriff’s Dept. investigated the accident.
Dumas Fire & Rescue also responded to the scene.
