August 10th, 2013 by Joe BurgessA 30 YEAR OLD MONTICELLO MAN WAS ARRESTED BY THE DREW COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE ON AUGUST 3, 2013 AFTER A TRAFFIC STOP WAS CONDUCTED ON HIS VEHICLE, .TO SHERIFF MARK GOBER
STEFON COLLINS WAS STOPPED DUE TO AN ACTIVE WARRANT FOR HIS ARREST FOR THE CHARGE OF DELIVERY OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE AND PROXIMITY TO CERTAIN FACILITIES. DURING THE STOP A GREEN LEAFY SUBSTANCE BELIEVED TO BE MARIJUANA WAS LOCATED IN THE VEHICLE AND ON COLLINS PERSON. COLLINS WHERE HE WAS BOOKED IN FOR THE WARRANT AND ALSO POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE WITH THE INTENT TO DELIVER AND POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA. COLLINS WAS TAKEN BEFORE JUDGE BYNUM GIBSON ON 8-5-13 WHERE HIS BOND WAS SET AT $3,000.00
COLLINS HAS SINCE BONDED OUT.
