Thieves / Vandals Strike Local Businesses

Around approximately 2-3 a.m., Tuesday morning, Monticello Police responded to 2 different crime scenes, at local businesses.
First, a large front window was broken out at Luckys of Monticello. It is believed no one entered the business and nothing was taken.
Approximately an hour later, officers responded to the west entrance of City Drug, where a window was also broken out.
It is believed that the thieves entered the building, and removed a few items, but nothing notable was taken.
