The state addressed the jury, beginning at 10:50, explaining the these events started with a text and ended with Eric Thompson dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
There are 41 pieces of evidence, that were recovered from the scene, at Briggs ‘ residence.
He also stated that both the accused and the deceased used drugs.
“The case is not about Myron Briggs caused the death of Eric Thompson, but about if he was justified in doing so.” – Prosecutor Frank Spain.
