Thefts / Break-ins Reported in County
January 21st, 2014 by Joe Burgess4 break-ins have recently been reported in Drew County, with a wide range of items being taken.
Wednesday afternoon, a burglary was reported on Winchester Road.
The door was kicked in, and items were stolen.
Missing items included medication and a jar of collected money.
2 break-ins were reported on Friday, January 10, in the Selma community.
In a residential burglary, a 60 inch Vizio TV taken, along with a 38 caliber handgun.
The homeowner founf the carport door entered.
Later that night, Drew Sheriff’s Counties deputies received another residential burglary called in Selma with the door being kicked in.
2 televisions, a laptop, and a shotgun were stolen.
On Monday, following that weekend, a deer camp on Sassafrass Trail reported thefts.
Butane bottles, a fleece jacket, a game camera, an air tank, a Browning overall jumpsuit, and Lacrosse rubber boots were reported as missing.
A camper was also broken into, and a battery out of four wheeler was removed.
Anoyone who noticeds any suspicious persons, vehicles, or activity around you neighbors or neighborhood, is urged to call teh Drew County Sheriff’s Dep. at 367-6211.
