The Hit & Run That Wasn’t

At 1:55, Sunday afternoon, MPD dispatch received multiple calls reporting a truck vs. motorcycle hit & run in front of Wendy’s on HWY 425 N.
MPD and SEEMS quickly responded. SEEMS transported the victim to JRMC in Pine Bluff for leg injuries, while MPD began interviewing witnesses.
Contrary to first impression, the vehicle involved pulled into the nearby parking lot, to speak to officers.
According to reports, the motorcycle was traveling southbound, while the Ford pick up was traveling north, attempting to turn into Wendy’s drive.
Rod’s Wrecker removed the bike from the roadway.
