Thanksgiving Morning Fire
November 24th, 2016 by iPhoneAt 8 AM, Thanksgiving morning, the Monticello fire department responded to a house fire on Maria Drive.
The fire which was limited to the laundry room, caused extensive heat and smoke damage throughout the residence.
The mom told the fire department that she was cooking Thanksgiving dinner, and smelled smoke. When she open the laundry room door she saw flames and safely left the home with her children, while calling 911.
