Thank You Note from Local Pastor
October 10th, 2017 by iPhoneThis past weekend’s events that took place by the Klu Klux Klan’s organization are not the reflection of what our community represents.
We are thankful to God for Sheriff Mark Gober and the Drew County deputies and staff, along with Chief Eddie Deaton and the Monticello police department and staff, as well as other law enforcement agencies.
We are thankful for your professional attention and actions in defusing a stressful situation.
Many of the officers worked on their off days and were away from their families, in order to keep our community safe.
Monticello is a community made up of families that care about the well-being of each other. Our ommunity is to be commended for going on with activities as normal.
Again thanks from the Community Leaders, Florence Road Community and the citizens of Monticello.
