Testimony of Williams Telling where the Body was Buried – 2:45 Update
August 28th, 2014 by iPhoneAt 2 pm, the defense showed a 30 minute video of Williams, made at the Monticello Police Dept. on April 10, with the addition of a State Police investigator.
In the interview, Williams told that they had been separated since early January.
It showed where police told him that they knew he’d picked her up in Warren, and that her last cell phone transmission was from his house.
As officers talked about how a family suffers for a missing child, in the courtroom, Williams was watching this video, and repeated removed his glasses to wipe his eyes.
On the screen, officers were saying, “We know you loved her, do the right thing, and bring her home.”
As the interview ended, Williams asked for the investigator’s cell number, before leaving.
Prior to this interview, a search warrant had been performed at his house, and he’d reportedly attempted suicide.
On April 14 (Sunday) Williams and his lawyer went to MPD. He was taken to the hospital, where he met with officers and told them where her body was buried.
