SUV Crashes into Family’s Living Room
February 18th, 2013 by Joe BurgessAround 2:30, Sunday morning, Monticello Police and Arkansas State Troopers responded to the call of home on Oakland Street, being struck by a Chevy SUV.
The home, located near the Oakland and Cooper Steet intersection, had been struck in the living room window, by the vehicle, causing the windows, as well the the TV and entertainment center, to fly across the room andcome to rest against the couch and a recliner that someone had just left from.
The Chevy SUV’s driver seems to have lost control and jumped the ditch, before colliding with a parked pick-up truck, and finally crashing to the residence.
No one at the scene seemed to have been injured. Dan’s Towing was called to remove the vehicle from the residence.
The driver of the Chevy was a juvenile, so no information was released due to age restrictions.
