Suspect Arrested Twice in 1 Evening
May 10th, 2013 by Joe BurgessRecently, an 18 year old Monticello youth was arrested twice in one evening.
On April 25, the Monticello Police Department received a call around 9 PM stating that a white male was walking down Boyd Street yelling and cursing.
When the subjects saw the police officer, he turned and started walking toward a vehicle, still screaming and cursing.
The subject was recognized as Toby Towler, who had been charged with DWI-drugs just a couple hours prior to this disturbance.
The 9 o’clock situation began when Towler became upset at his father for not allowing the 18-year-old, who was still intoxicated, to use his vehicle.
Towler was again arrested, now charged with disorderly conduct, and transported back to jail
This time he was required to remain there for an eight hour detoxication period.
