Superman Truck Stolen Overnight, in Monticello – Update – Arrest Made & Truck Recovered

Monticello Police are searching for Chevy Z71 truck that was stolen Saturday night.
The truck reportedly has a black hood, red cab, and gray bed assembly.
The truck also has a Superman logo on the tailgate.
If seen contact the Metropolis Police Dept, or MPD at 367-3411.

UPDATE – Around 10:30, the stolen pick-up was recovered in Ashley County, and the driver was arrested and transported back to Drew County.

Car theft is terrible. I had my first car I ever owned stolen, which was a pretty nice Mustang GT that meant a LOT to me. I was just a high school kid who worked and had to pay $254 a month for liability insurance, (no tickets, lived in a city) Never got it back, been about 10 years now..
