Sunday Shooting In Monticello

At 5:10. PM, Sunday, an ongoing argument escalated into a shooting in the 500 block of Pauline Street.
Brandon Dujuan Hayes was arrested by Monticello police without incident, shortly after the event occurred.
The victim was shot in the shoulder and transported to JRMC by SEEMSÂ for non-life-threatening injuries.
Hayes is being held in the Drew County jail, awaiting first appearance and bond hearing.
He will likely be charged with committing a terroristic act and first-degree battery.
