Students Celebrate at MCA Victory Ceremony
May 31st, 2017 by iPhoneMonticello Christian Academy, located at 910 Old Warren Road, recently hosted its 13th annual Victory Ceremony to celebrate their students accomplishments for the school year.
“There have been many highlights this year,” says Kelly Word, Director of Education. “These four stand out in my mind: MCA student’s cumulative test average for the year was 94.03%. That means if you take the average of every test our students took this year and made one report card for the school, we would have an A average. The total number of hours given back to our community in service this year was 471.5. We even had six students receive awards from the President of the United States for community service.
Also, students gathered over 300 pounds of food to be distributed to the hungry. These are all things about this year that bring a sense of joy and accomplishment.”
