Student Injured during Hayride

During Drew Central’s annual Fall Festival, Monday night, a 12-year-old student fell off of a hayride trailer, and then was run over by the trailer.
The driver of the four wheeler pulling the trailer told officers that it felt like the vehicle hit something. He immediately stopped the vehicle, as other riders began to yell.
A UAM officer was the first to respond; MPD and MASI were also quick to arrive.
The student was transported to Drew Memorial Hospital, where his mother met him, before being transferred to Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
He has since been released and is now at home.
