Student Expelled for Beer & Rifle on Safe Prom Parking Lot
May 1st, 2014 by iPhoneA 10th grade MHS student received a one year expulsion from school, Tuesday night, as the school board agreed to uphold recommendation of the superintendent
Around 2 am, on the night of the Safe Prom party, an officer noticed the student at his vehicle.
Upon speaking with the student, beer and a rifle were found in his truck. The student told police that he had been to his deer camp, and hadn’t removed it. A juvenile affidavit was issued by officers.
If the student successfully completes a credible alcohol treatment program prior to September, he may present his request for reinstatement at the December school board meeting, to take effect the spring semester of 2015.
Prior to this violation, he had been an exemplary student.
Legal action is still pending in the case.

Why was this one expelled for 1 time? Because of the addition of beer?
