Store Employee Arrested for “Robbing” His Own Store
March 20th, 2019 by iPhoneOn February 28, Joshua Jenkins, a GNC employee, reported to Monticello Police that the business has been robbed.
According to investigator Kenny Cox, Jenkins told officers he had closed the store at 7 PM, the night before. Officers found a broken window in the front of the building.
After interviews and investigation at the scene, it was determined that Jenkins was a suspect. He was arrested for filing a false felony police report and theft of property.
Bond was set at $5,000, Jenkins has since been released pending court.
