Stolen Forklift Recovered on N. Gabbert St., at 3 AM
October 2nd, 2013 by iPhoneAround 3 am Wednesday morning, Drew County Sheriff’s Deputies received a call reporting a forklift stolen from Bio-wood pellet mill, on Wilson Mill Road, south of Monticello.
Minutes after hearing the report of the stolen forklift, a Monticello Police Department officer noticed the orange Toyota machine stuck in yard on North Gabbert street, as he was responding to a call on Ross Street, complaining of strange suspects knocking on doors, waking up area residents.
Anthony Craig Hall and Stacy Paschal Jaggers were arrested nearby for the stolen forklift, and will likely be charged with Commercial Burglary and Theft of Vehicle. Bot are being held in the Drew County Detention Facility.
The slow ride carried them over 4 miles, as they were reportedly attempting to get to a trailer park on Hwy 425, north of Monticello.
Reliable Towing removed the forklift, and returned it back to Bio-wood.
The only reported damage was to an exit door at the pellet plant.
