State Crime Lab Experts, DNA & Evidence
April 14th, 2016 by iPhoneAs the trial of Heather Hackett continued, Agent McKelvey was followed by 3 state crime lab experts.
One described the fingerprint process from the case. The second told about evidence that was received at the crime lab, including photos of remains from the burn pile. The third was a forensic DNA analyst, who explained her report, stating that the remains were of Sam Arnold. On cross-examination, she also testified that Arnold’s DNA was present in another case, specifically the earlier assault of Hackett.
That took until 4 pm.
