Stabbing Reported in Wilmar

Drew County Deputies were dispatched to a residence in Wilmar, Tuesday night, in reference to a local man being stabbed.
Upon deputy’s arrival the suspect, James Frye, fled the scene.
The victim was transported by MASI, then air lifted to UAMS in Little Rock.
James Frye was apprehended later in the night and transported to the Drew County Detention Facility. The investigation is still on going and the victim is said to currently be stable at this time.
