The Monticello City Council recently approved the next step in the process of remodeling the senior citizen center, located near City Park.

A grant will cover the entire $150,000 expense. The possible exception to this would be if the floor is replaced, at which point the city’s work would be considered as in-kind payment.

The building as also known as “the old swimmimg pool.”
