Springdale Man Injured in Woods Accident

On September 5, 2024 at approximately 4pm Drew County Dispatch received a call about a man injured in the woods here in Drew County.
The Springdale man was located in a wooded area off of Highway 172 where he sustained serious but not life threatening injuries. He has since been transported to an out of county hospital to seek medical attention.
On behalf of the Sheriff’s Office, I, Sheriff Tim Nichols want to thank members of the 10th Judicial Drug Task Force, Arkansas State Police, Monticello Police, our Dispatchers and Emergency Medical Technicians for their help in locating and rendering aid to the injured.
