February 3rd, 2020 by Joe BurgessThe Southeast Arkansas Animals Club is pleased to announce the group’s next meeting. The meeting will take place Monday, February 3, at the Monticello Western Sizzlin.
The event will begin at 12 p.m. At the meeting, Drew County Treasurer Charlie Searcy will discuss the upcoming vote to reinstate the 1 cent county-wide sales and use tax for road improvement.
An earlier vote for renewing the decades long tax, held this past summer, failed by a narrow margin amidst low turnout. Treasurer Searcy will discuss the tax, its uses, and answer questions from the audience.
