Anthony Randle, age 47 of Monticello, allegedly crashed his truck into the victims vehicle, after the victim pulled into Randle’s driveway, around 3 PM on July 14.
Randle then began beating the man’s car with a sledgehammer, leaving 8 dents and a broken windshield.
He also struck the victim’s right hand with a sledgehammer, and then threatened to kill him if he called the police.
After the victim was able to escape, he reported the incident to MPD, and was transported to Pine Bluff for medical care by MASI.
Randall was later arrested, facing charges of aggravated assault, second-degree battery, criminal mischief, and terroristic threatening. His bond was then set at $150,000.
On July 23, another judge reduced his bond to bond to $40,000.
Randle bonded out of jail later that day.

I am confused on how someone like this can keep getting in trouble And keep getting a slap on the wrist, it’s obvious he wants to go to the pen so make his wish come true and send him instead of letting him Out every time so he can do something else, he is sucking up oxygen out here that he don’t deserve, Put him away
Glad to see this dangerous habitual criminal was released again.
How does a person get their bail reduces from 150,000 to 40,000 after threatening someone’s life with a sledge hammer?
Really??? Reduce bond??? Did I misread this ???? Beat a guy with a sledgehammer and threaten to kill him???
Who is this judge???? People need to make sure he doesn’t get another term as judge. This could be the problem with Monticello.
OMG!! He didn’t have a gun?? Now we need to ban sledgehammers! Society… I swear.
Gun??? What’s that have to do with getting his bond reduced??? He’s lucky the victim didn’t have a gun. Because I do and I dare someone come at me with a sledgehammer and hit me with it. It’s legislators / judges that’s got everything twisted on both issues!!!
