Skylyne Boutique Opens In Monticello

Holly Donaldson has an eye for fashion and knew Monticello needed an affordable option in women’s clothing. Her new business, Skylyne Boutique opened recently
Donaldson decided to pursue her dream of becoming a first time business owner and upon a friend’s advice decided to contact the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Stephanie Harton, center director, assisted Donaldson by providing advice on how to get a business started and with market research that supported the idea there was a demand for such a business in this area.
Skylyne Boutique sells a variety of affordable name brand women’s clothing and accessories that are frequently displayed throughout the store and on the social media page. “I had a vision of what the store would look like, but I had no idea on how to get Skylyne setup properly. Stephanie was very helpful in this process and I would recommend others use the free services at the ASBTDC as well,” said Donaldson.
Skylyne Boutique is located at 1920 Hwy. 425, Suite 2 in Monticello.
