Sister Slashes Sister with Box Cutter, Gets $25,000 Bond
April 3rd, 2018 by iPhoneAccording to Sheriff Mark Gober, onApril 1, around 5 pm deputies received a call from the Monticello Police Dispatch advising that a homeowner needed a deputy at her residence.
The caller was Debbie Robinson, 57, of Monticello, when deputies arrived at the residence they noticed blood on the outside and inside of a vehicle, the victim, her 55 year old sister, also of Monticello, had cuts on her chest and back and a large cut on her left hand. The injuries were inflicted by a box cutter.
EMT’s checked the injured, who was later transported to the Drew Memorial Hospital for her injuries and then released.
During the time at the residence it was determined that the two females were sisters and earlier in the day they had gotten into an argument at another residence; this then carried over to the residence located at 602 Hwy 138 deputies responded to. Both parties were intoxicated at the time of the incident. Debbie Robinson was taken into custody and charged with Battery 1st degree.
Judge Bruce Anderson set her bond at $25,000. At this time Robinson remains in custody
