Simmons Donates to Vera Lloyd Home
March 8th, 2022 byRecently, Simmons First Foundation distributed grant funds to entities in the Monticello community.
Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Family Services was awarded $25,000 for their “Gym Renovation for Traumatized Youth” project. Specifically, the funds will be used toward the purchase of a new HVAC system, which will assist to provide a better-quality gym area to make sure Vera Lloyd youths’ physical, mental and emotional well-being will be improved.
“These entities are truly making a difference in their community. The Simmons First Foundation is proud to play a part in improving the lives of youth in the Monticello and Southeast Arkansas area” stated Shannon Morgan, Grant Coordinator of the Simmons First Foundation.
