UPDATE – Shooting Suspect & Victim Arrested
November 7th, 2016 by iPhoneA 49-year-old Drew County man was awoken by Sheriff Mark Gober and a deputy, around 9 AM, Friday morning. as he was being handcuffed for allegedly shooting two vehicles and two victims, in Winchester, Thursday.
Reports told Sheriff Gober that Jesse Farmer, Jr. was spending the night at a particular residence in Winchester, which is where he was taken into custody.
Farmer is currently incarcerated at the Drew county detention facility.

According to Sheriff Mark Gober, one of the potential victims of the Thursday shooting in Winchester has been arrested and is being held in the Dumas city jail.
Sam Kinney age 35, in a joint effort with Dumas police, Drew and Desha County sheriffs deputies, and Dept. of Community Correction special response team, on the probable charges of possession of controlled substance.
Kinney is also being held on a parole absconder warrant, out of Drew County.
