Update on Shooting Death on Garnett Road, with Arrest & Release Info

According to Sheriff Mark Gober, around 3:17 pm, Saturday, a shooting was reported on the northern section of Garnet Road.
Drew County Sheriff’s Deputies responded.
The deceased victim was Clifton Jolley, age 27 of the Monticello area.
Late Saturday afternoon, a father and daughter, Bobby D. Adams (age 50) and Elizabeth Bailey Adams (age 25) were booked into the Drew County Jail, which listed them as charged with murder.
they were released without bond, Sunday.
Sheriff Gober told MLive, “no one has officially been charged at this time.” The investigation is still underway. The body has been sent to the state crime lab.
